My expectations for this trip were far surpassed. I did a solo charter as I was traveling alien visiting family for a few days in South Florida. I am not very knowledgeable about any type of fishing; however, it has always been on a bucket list for me to go shark fishing and have an experience. I went into the trip with the realistic expectation that some days just aren’t “my” days with regard to how I want things to pan out. Well, I arrived a few mins behind schedule and was greeted to hear that the Black Tips were already biting this morning. I was thinking heck yeah! That’s awesome. So I posted up in my chair and we had a few bites and then switched out our hook. As soon as we did that I was able to bring one in. Catching a shark while fishing - checked off my bucket list. I sat down for a bite and then Jason decided to give it a try for something a little larger out there. About 30-40 mins later, we had a bite on one of the lines. And she pulled fast. I got up and helped with Jason and Josh leading the way. I’m not very strong so I contributed what I could. And after about an hour and 5 mins we brought her in. It was such a cool experience! We brought in a 12 foot hammerhead shark. First time I think I’ve ever seen one not in an aquarium and up close. No Name is very ethical as well. After we caught the first Black Tip, I asked what we do with it, send it back out? And he said yes are you okay with that? I said absolutely! We did the same thing with our hammerhead we brought it. And it was very quick. The hook was removed, we rushed over, took a couple quick pics and sent her back out to sea. And we were certain she made it back out successfully. Watched her go all the way out past the sandbar. I can’t wait for my next solo travel trip to South Florida as I will definitely be coming back. Booking with them went super smoothly and the communication was top tier! I don’t have a a single complaint and if I could give more than 5 stars I would.
